Report: "PeachNet Network Issues Reported - University of West Georgia"
Last updateAfter monitoring the situation, Network Support Services (NSS) has confirmed the stability of network services at the University of West Georgia. The system should continue operating normally. In the event that you experience any further issues with access to the network, please contact the USG Service Desk at support@usg.edu or 877-251-2644.
Communications Consulting Group (CCG) is reporting both paths are now up at the University of West Georgia. All connections have been normalized and the techs are hands-off, so no further service interruptions are expected. We will continue to monitor this system for stability. Communications Consulting Group (CCG) is reporting that access to the University of West Georgia has been restored. One fiber span has been repaired, but the second is still down.
Communications Consulting Group (CCG) is reporting that AGA has discovered that the local carrier is performing a maintenance in Carrolton. The maintenance may last until 8:00 a.m.

The vendor has advised that a field dispatch is needed to investigate a possible fiber cut impacting the service. Updates will be provided when possible.
