The reason we built it
It started with a failed build and the wrong place to look.
In his founding story, Javier describes a deployment that stalled while his team checked commits, retried builds and rolled back changes. They eventually traced the disruption to AWS EC2, which their build pipeline depended on.
Statusfield grew from that question: could the problem be with a service we depend on? Today, it brings reported vendor incidents, your own uptime checks, scheduled-job check-ins and upcoming renewals together, so your team has somewhere to start before opening another round of status tabs.

Vendor status monitoring
Follow official status updates and choose available components or regions. Coverage depends on what each vendor reports.
Uptime monitoring
Run scheduled HTTPS checks for publicly reachable websites and APIs. Configure expected status codes or ranges, latency thresholds, timeouts, and text or JSON response-body checks. These synthetic HTTP checks do not test complete user journeys.
SSL expiry monitoring
Track SSL certificate expiry, with configurable renewal alerts to help your team plan ahead.
Domain expiry monitoring
Track domain registration expiry and configure renewal alerts for your team.
Heartbeat monitoring
Detect missing check-ins from cron jobs, backups and scheduled tasks using an expected interval and grace period. Jobs can run on private servers if they can send outbound HTTPS check-ins to Statusfield. Your code sends a check-in after successful work; the monitor does not inspect job output. Heartbeat monitoring is available with legacy Free plans, paid plans and eligible trials.
