Common questions
What is the difference between a status board and a status page?
A board shows the current status of selected vendors and your own systems. To publish your own incident updates and postmortems, use a hosted status page.
Can I make one board per client?
Yes, within your plan’s board limit. Each board shows selected monitors from one workspace. Boards do not create separate client workspaces.
Do people need an account to view a board?
No. Anyone with the link can view an unprotected board. Add a password when you need to restrict access.
Will my board show up in Google?
Boards ask search engines not to index them. That is not access control: anyone with an unprotected link can still view it.
Can I revoke a board link?
Yes. Deactivate the board to disable all its links. You can also rotate the share token, but any custom link must be removed separately.
