Does an aggregator replace checks against my own application?
No. Vendor status tells you what the provider reports. It may lag a problem or describe a component you do not use. Keep your own application checks, and use the vendor view to investigate whether a dependency could explain an error.
Can I monitor one component instead of a whole vendor?
Where the provider publishes components, choose the ones your workflow depends on. For example, select GitHub Actions for build failures and configure the severities and notification channels that should alert your team.
What is the difference between a status page and a status page aggregator?
A status page publishes one company’s service updates. An aggregator combines updates from many vendors. Statusfield also lets you share selected monitors on a read-only board.
