Connectivity at the remote sites was restored at approximately 10:05 AM this morning. The problem was in the service provider network. They are continuing to investigate the root cause.

Root cause has been identified and resolved. Hyper-V Dev environment was affected by a network equipment power outage, storage and VMs went offline. We have now recovered and restored VM state. Please let us know if there's any issue.

The follow remote campus sites experienced an interruption to network connectivity to main campus and the internet from approximately 8:45 AM until 9:10 AM. IST will contact the service provider for further information. ARC CAT IA IHB PHR IST

Update: This maintenance has been cancelled. The original issue has reoccurred, and we are not able to safely proceed with the planned storage failback and firmware maintenance at this time. There is currently no service impact, as the redundant node is operating normally and continuing to provide storage services. We will continue working with the vendor on the underlying issue and will schedule a new maintenance window once the environment is stable and the work can be completed safely.

IST Network Services is investigating an offline switch on the 2nd floor in E7. Wired and wireless services may be degraded at the moment.

The second floor network service has been restored. A software failure caused some hardware components to stop working. The device firmware was updated and the issue was resolved.

A software rollback was performed on the affected servers, and the problem was resolved. The vendor case will continue and further maintenance will be scheduled at a later date.
