    At approximately 1:50 am on September 4, EduCloud Server in Vancouver experienced an underlying infrastructure issue that affected the availability of a subset of virtual servers. Websites hosted on UBC CMS were offline between 01:50 and 06:00 on Friday September 4th, 2026 Affected virtual servers were restarted, with recovery completed by 6:30 am.

Zoom Update Issue on UBC Owned Windows Devices

    The Zoom Update issue has been resolved. Users who are still experiencing issues should re-install manually by first uninstalling "Zoom and Zoom plug-in for Outlook" through Software Center then re-installing it. A restart may be required before attempting re-install.
