PHP Security Updates (CVE-2026-109618 / CVE-2026-109619)

🔄 Update: We are still processing tickets. Handling the incoming requests continues to have highest priority. As part of this incident, we will begin installing software updates for the storage operating system at approximately 11:00 CET, as the manufacturer has released corresponding updates. Important note: The affected storage systems are, of course, not accessible from outside. The updates are expected to last until tomorrow evening and may have the following impacts: CIFS – Connection drops Temporary connection drops may occur during the maintenance work. Shared-NFS – Possible individual ping losses Short-term network interruptions may occur during maintenance, noticeable through the loss of individual pings. These temporary disruptions may have minimal impact on NFS connections. In most cases, connections will be re-established automatically; however, in rare cases, delays or brief interruptions when accessing NFS shares may occur. Applications with high sensitivity to short latencies may notice this briefly. iSCSI – Path losses Connection drops of individual iSCSI paths may occur during maintenance. In a multipath environment, the remaining path should take over the traffic, ensuring continuous access to the iSCSI targets. However, if all paths fail or no redundancy exists, interruptions when accessing storage resources may occur, which can be particularly problematic for active database or virtualization workloads. Fibre Channel – Path losses Connection drops of individual Fibre Channel paths may occur during maintenance. In a multipath environment, the remaining path should take over the traffic, ensuring continuous access to the Fibre Channel targets. However, if all paths fail or no redundancy exists, interruptions when accessing storage resources may occur, which can be particularly problematic for active database or virtualization workloads. In den meisten Fällen werden die Verbindungen automatisch wiederhergestellt, jedoch könnten in seltenen Fällen Verzögerungen oder kurze Unterbrechungen beim Zugriff auf NFS-Freigaben auftreten. Anwendungen mit hoher Empfindlichkeit gegenüber kurzen Latenzen könnten dies kurzzeitig spüren. iSCSI – Pfadverluste Während der Wartungsarbeiten kann es zu Verbindungsabbrüchen einzelner iSCSI-Pfade kommen. In einer Multipath-Umgebung sollte der verbleibende Pfad die Last übernehmen, sodass ein durchgehender Zugriff auf die iSCSI-Ziele gewährleistet bleibt.
