GitHub has lifted the restriction on unauthenticated downloads that was preventing servers from fetching the Let's Encrypt client. If a certificate failed during the incident, you can reissue it from the site's Domains tab.

We applied a fix to all servers provisioned since 10 August, so Nginx will no longer fail to start after an upgrade. Newly provisioned servers were fixed on 3 September.
