Some applications in eu-central-1 saw connection failures to their MySQL databases: "Can't create TCP/IP socket" or "Max connect timeout reached while reaching hostgroup". The problem was traced to an issue with one of our database proxies. All affected components were fully recovered by 10:40 UTC.
