Report: "Cognos Analytics degradation"

Google published an update to Chrome (150.0.7871.125) that resolves the issue. Steps to update the Chrome browser: 1. Open Chrome. 2. Click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the browser. 3. Select 'Help', and then click 'About Google Chrome'. (Alternatively, if a pending update is available, you may see an "Update" button next to the three-dot menu). 4. Chrome will automatically check for updates. If one is available, it will download and install in the background. 5. When prompted, restart your browser to complete the update.

A recent Google Chrome update (version 150.x) has introduced a compatibility issue with Cognos Analytics. Impacted Scenarios in Chrome: Running Reports—When running a report interactively and using the output toolbar to re-run the report or change format (e.g., clicking "Run" or "Select a format" then PDF, Excel, HTML), an error may occur. You can close the report and re-run it in your desired format or use Firefox as a temporary workaround. Authoring Reports—Creating or modifying reports will result in an error. Use Firefox as a temporary workaround. NOTE: Users may experience the same errors in Edge since it also uses the Chromium codebase.

OSHEAN performed maintenance on multiple NCS routers on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. During this time, users may have experienced brief outages affecting ANMA and several off-campus VPN sites. This issue is now resolved.
