Report: "The Microsoft Azure West US connectivity incident"
Last updateThe Microsoft Azure West US connectivity incident (Azure ref: ZJV6-SGG) has been mitigated. Bloomfilter has been fully operational and stable in our monitoring since 18:26:31 UTC.
We are continuing to monitor for any further issues.
The Bloomfilter API has begun responding again and the application is functioning in our checks. We're keeping this incident open and monitoring closely to confirm service is fully stable before calling it resolved. You should be able to use Bloomfilter again. If you hit an error, retrying shortly should succeed as recovery completes. Your data remains safe and intact.
This incident remains ongoing and continues to affect the entire Bloomfilter application. Pages may load, but data and actions will not work. Microsoft Azure has classified the West US regional connectivity incident as critical (Azure ref: ZJV6-SGG). They report that their initial mitigations (rerouting traffic away from affected network paths) have not yet produced a broad improvement, and they do not have an estimated time to resolution at this stage. Their engineering teams are continuing to investigate and evaluate additional options. Your data is safe and intact; this is a loss of access, not data loss. We remain fully engaged and are monitoring continuously for recovery.
Microsoft Azure has confirmed an active service incident affecting connectivity in the West US region, which hosts our API (Azure ref: ZJV6-SGG). This matches what we identified earlier. Impact is limited to API access while Azure restores connectivity in the region. We're monitoring Azure's remediation and will update as their incident progresses.
We've traced the disruption to a network connectivity issue affecting the cloud region that hosts our API. Our infrastructure provider has publicly reported that they are investigating a connectivity issue affecting this region. Our own application and databases are healthy and your data is safe and unaffected. This is a connectivity issue preventing access to the API, not a problem with your data. Because the Bloomfilter web app relies on the API, you may be able to open the app but will see errors loading data or performing actions. Resolution depends on our provider restoring connectivity in the affected region. We're monitoring their progress closely and will update this page as we learn more.
We're investigating an issue affecting the Bloomfilter API. You may be unable to load data or complete actions in the app. Our team is actively engaged and we'll post an update shortly.
