At around 9:10 AM Eastern Time on April 9, 2025, the system that processes updates to segment membership for the purpose of building campaign audiences began to experience delays. Currently, this system is delayed by up to 60 minutes. As a result, campaigns with segment-based audiences may be impacted. For such campaigns, estimated recipient counts as well as actual recipient lists may be based on segmentation membership that is up to 60 minutes out-of-date. Segment creation is not impacted by this delay. Creation of new segments and updating segment definitions are functioning as expected. Flows triggered by segment membership are not impacted by this delay and are functioning as expected. We have identified the issue and are working to restore the performance of the impacted system.

We continue to observe normal accessibility to the app and APIs. The full window of impact was from 4:12PM to 5:07PM (US Eastern). Any delayed messages from that time window have been sent. Most API calls (excluding Identify calls) made in that time window responded with failure response codes. Additionally, signup form submissions did not succeed, and any users of the signup forms received an error message in the form prompting them to try again later. We will continue to monitor our systems.
