Some customers are seeing an increase in issues generated by the control "Application endpoint exposing technology allowing unauthorized access" ( wc-id-2118 ). The increase is caused by misdetections in the Host Configuration Rule "S3 bucket allows unrestricted PUT action." The Host Configuration Rule has been disabled, findings and issues will be resolved following the next Dynamic Scanner scan.

Threat Detection Rules: -Anomalous execution from a suspicious directory (cer-correlation-id-286) -Process execution from a suspicious location on a writable layer (cer-sen-id-367) These detections have generated multiple false positives during the last few hours. To prevent further disruption, these rules have been temporarily disabled, and the Wiz team is actively working on a resolution. In the meantime, customers can manually bulk resolve the flagged threats as needed. We will provide further updates as soon as the issue is resolved.

Built-in Graph Controls that are disabled by default but were later enabled by users are also impacted. Such Controls were re-disabled. We are developing a hotfix to restore all impacted Graph Controls to their prior states.

An issue with threat detection rule correlation-id-287 (Multiple runtime detections on a resource in a short period of time) caused multiple false positive Threats. The rule has been shut down and is no longer generating false positives. The Wiz team is working on bulk resolution, but customers can manually resolve these alerts if needed.
