Instagram’s API is impacted by a problem which causes the publishing of posts containing multiple media files to fail. We already reported the problem to Meta, other apps using the API are affected as well. We will provide further updates regarding a fix as soon as information becomes available.

All YouTube comments are again imported as usual. Also the older comments what we missed in the past days will be imported retroactively.

We are currently not able to import any new YouTube comments because they are not delivered by the YouTube API. This issue started at about 2024-01-03 20:00 UTC. We already filed a bug-report and are now waiting for a response: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/318545980

Linkedin community management and publishing is working without issues again and therefore this incident is concluded 🎉

Although all features related to community management are working again, we actually did see some issues with publishing posts. We made another adjustment to the permissions which should resolve them and therefore are still monitoring the situation more closely 👀

We adjusted the scopes of our OAuth permissions ✍️ and after refreshing the tokens, community management related operations should work again.

Due to a problem related to the official TikTok API, we have been experiencing issues with moderating TikTok comments. Actions like reply, hide or like have been unsuccessful. The issue has been reported to the TikTok support and we will keep you posted. All other TikTok operations like comment fetching and publishing posts remain unaffected.

This morning we have experienced an issue with publishing posts which were scheduled to be auto-published. The issue affected posts scheduled for period until 10:20. As soon as we have identified the issue the operation of auto publishing was resumed.

Due to a problem related to the official Instagram API, deleting comments is currently not possible and will result in an error message. Please delete your comments directly on Instagram until the problem is solved. Hiding of comments is still possible. We've caught up with the missing content and the search experience is as great as it was before, it's now fully operational again!

The search is back but still lacks update from 2023-03-31 16:00:00 CEST on. We've now started the process of adding the missing content!

We implemented a workaround to counter the faulty API response. Adding accounts and resetting access tokens should work again in most cases. If your previous attempts to add channels / reset tokens failed, please try again. We are experiencing problems with the Facebook/Instagram APIs since yesterday. The API is returning incomplete/unexpected results when adding new accounts or re-setting the access token for Swat.io-channels. There is an ongoing bugreport for the Facebook Graph API where multiple other parties also reported this problem: https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/994034301555870/ We are actively monitoring the issue and will provide updates as soon as there are new developments in this issue; for now it looks like we have to depend on Meta fixing the issue with their API.

The Instagram API currently responds with errors to publishing attempts for new photo/video posts. YouTube team has managed to fix the underlying problem and we can confirm that blocking users and hiding/unhiding comments now work again.

The bug-report we created for this issue has been assigned. We'll keep you posted once there are any further updates from YouTube.

Hiding YouTube comments or blocking users isn't currently working. Each respective request against the YouTube API is responding with an error. We already reached out to YouTube and waiting for a response.

Most of Facebook's and Instagram's APIs are back. We're receiving webhooks (aka: realtime updates) again and can process most requests. We're actively monitoring our systems!

Update on Instagram monitoring channels: The good news is we are receiving results again but those are about 1/3 less than usual.

The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.

We stopped receiving results for Instagram monitoring channels. This happened based on changes on Instagram side. Our monitoring partner Ubermetrics is already working on a solution. They currently estimate an outage of Instagram related monitoring results for at about 2 weeks. Note: it's only about Instagram monitoring channels. Channels which are directly based on your Instagram accounts are not affected!

We can confirm that adding location to Instagram posts works again.

At the moment, locations can not be added to new Instagram posts created on Swat.io. This is due to an inconsistency in the API – we already contacted Facebook support to get this issue sorted. Planned posts that already have a location set in your calendar will publish fine.

This affects all Facebook post types. Facebook Team has claimed that this incident has been resolved.

Facebook is currently delivering unreliable numbers regarding the community size visible in our Analytics section. The reported community size we receive through the Facebook API can be zero in some instances. We have also seen reports of higher than expected community size numbers. The affected time stretch is February 23rd 2020 until the present. The bug has already been reported to Facebook and we are currently waiting for an update and clarification.
