Root cause of the incident was an Amazon Web Services networking failure. Service is up again. We'll keep monitoring it for the next hours.

Last updateProblem has been solved by Amazon AWS support and email is being sent normally. Sorry for the inconveniences caused during the incident.
Amazon AWS, our hosting provider, has blocked our outgoing email temporarily. We are working with them to restore it as soon as possible. Beyond the lost email notifications, this will block newly registered users, or the users resetting passwords, from getting the activation email. Workaround for that is activation by an admin.

Last updateWe've haven't had any unusual activity on the last 24h, so we are giving the incident as closed.
Attack has seemingly been stopped. We'll keep monitoring in case there are new waves after this one. We've confirmed attack's target was a single client domain. It was also the same client targeted by yesterday's attack.
We are blocking the attack, and monitoring it. From what we've seen the attack is directed against a single client. It is not a general attack against the sonosuite platform. Platform is up, with a slightly degraded performance.
Yesterday's Denial of Service attack has restarted a little less than two hours ago. Platform has had its performance degraded until it has had a short downtime. We are working to restore service and stop this attack.

We've blocked some IP sets behind most of the login attempts. We'll add more IP sets to the blacklist until attack stops. In case some legitimate users try to login and get blocked, ask them to use https://whatismyipaddress.com/es/mi-ip (or any other similar tool) and report their IP to add it to the whitelist of allowed addresses.
We have detected a brute force attack on logins that is affecting the performance of the application. We have already applied measures and are now monitoring the results.

We've changed how the machine manages disk load, and service is now back to normal. We'll keep monitoring performance for a couple of hours before closing the incident.
SonoSuite Core service has been stopped for 5' and it's up again.
Machine affected has been restarted. SonoSuite Core has been unavailable for a few minutes. It's up again.
Main SonoSuite Core machine is having a heavy disk load by unknown reasons. We are investigating the underlying causes.
We are experiencing some issues on the platform that can cause delays on the user navigation. We are currently investigating.
