Earlier today, we deployed a change to Smartcar Connect that unintentionally introduced a bug, causing some vehicle owners to experience connection failures when attempting to link their vehicles between 11:45 AM and 12:45 PM PDT. Users that encountered this issue received an error message stating "500: vehiclesRequiringAdditionalActions.includes is not a function". The issue was identified and resolved with a fix deployed at approximately 12:43 PM PDT. The issue has been fully resolved, and affected users should now be able to connect their vehicles successfully. If you're still experiencing issues, we recommend trying the connection process again. We apologize for the disruption and are implementing additional safeguards to prevent similar issues in the future.

Smartcar API service had a downtime from 2/26/2025 04:32:00 PM PST - 04:50:00 PM PST for a total of 18 minutes of service impact. During this time API service experience a partial outage. A small portion of our incoming request were being serviced. The partial outage was caused by a bad code merge in API. This lead to a out memory error for our containers.
