On Tuesday May 13, around 6pm ET, Pendo’s Chatbot experience was not operational within the Resource Center and customers were not able to open support tickets in Pendo. As of 8:45am ET, Pendo reinstated our Support ticket form within the Resource Center. We are working with our vendor to fix this issue as soon as possible. Report: "Pendo application and CNAME guide delivery outage in EU region"

At 12:02 UTC (14:02 CET / 8:02 ET), Pendo released an update to our EU region that caused the app to crash for all customers in that region. Around 12:30 UTC, our application crashed for users in the EU region and service was restored by 13:00 UTC. There was no impact to data collection. However, for our customers using our CNAME product in the EU region, there was a guides outage for approximately 30 minutes. Those services have been restored as of 13:00 UTC and we are currently monitoring behavior.

We have identified an issue with our latest Pendo mobile SDK version 3.7.0.9285 for iOS that will cause applications to be rejected upon submission to Apple's App Store. Our team has identified the issue and is working diligently to fix it. To resolve this issue, we are preparing a new version of the Pendo mobile SDK, version 3.7.0.9334. We expect to release this new version by the end of the business day (EOD EST) today, May 7, 2025. Guidelines: * If you must submit an update before SDK version 3.7.0.9334 is released (expected EOD EST today), use SDK version 3.6.0 instead. * If possible, wait for SDK 3.7.0.9334 and upgrade to it before submitting. * If your app with SDK 3.7.0.9285 is in review or was rejected, resubmit using either SDK 3.6.0 or wait for 3.7.0.9334. Note: This issue only affects App Store submissions; SDK 3.7.0.9285 is otherwise fully functional.

From approximately 10:15am - 10:35am EST, Pendo dropped all events due to an infrastructure issue with our cloud provider. During the outage, Pendo experienced degraded data performance impacting backend services and consequently analytic latency. While guide delivery remained functional, guide targeting could have been impacted by the event ingestion failures. All data except server-side track events and session replay events during that time frame are being recovered. We are continuing to monitor this situation with our cloud provider. Pendo has received an update from Microsoft that they implemented a fix in their newest release. The issue, present in Edge V130, prevented extensions using managed storage from functioning when the end user was using Microsoft Windows OS. This was resolved in their latest release, V130.0.2849.56. Pendo will continue to monitor the issue to ensure functionality has fully returned. Pendo team is aware of an issue in the latest version of the Microsoft Edge Browser (V130) preventing extensions using managed storage from functioning when the end user is using the Microsoft Windows OS. We have notified Microsoft. To avoid any impact, we would recommend either not updating to V130 of the Edge browser, or if you are able to do so, rolling back to the previous stable version. Note: This issue is specific to our Pendo for Employees (P4E) product.

We have identified an issue where some Pendo users are not receiving invitation/password reset emails or emails from Pendo are being marked as Spam. To mitigate, your IT team will need to go into your email providers' security setting to whitelist emails from Pendo. Please open a Support ticket if you are experiencing issues with email communication and need further assistance.

Data processing delay root cause has been addressed. A small number of subscriptions may continue to experience delays as these systems catch up. We'll continue monitoring until we feel the issue is completely resolved.
We have received reports from customers and are aware of delays in data appearing within the Pendo Insights and Analytics UI. We believe this is impacting some, but not all of our customers. Our engineers are aware of the problem and working to resolve. We will provide updates here as soon as they are available.
