All corrections have been processed for 2025-04-13. Transaction data and settlement data are complete in API. We are continuing to monitor and verify.
VISA clearing data for 2025-04-12 has now been completely processed. VISA clearing data for 2025-04-13 is complete, however some records have been duplicated. Corrections to back out the duplicates will be posted shortly.
Clearing data for 2025-04-14 has arrived complete, the original issue appears fixed by VISA. Delayed clearing data for 2025-04-12 and 2025-04-13 has started to arrive. Clients will see backdated events posting into the transactions API for those dates.
VISA has positively identified the issue, and declared a global incident affecting clearing and settlement. Their support team has communicated that backlogged clearing records will start being delivered overnight tonight.
VISA is still actively investigating the issue, and believes the root cause is identified. As of now there is no definitive timeline for resolution. The issue now affects clearing data for 2025-04-13.
We are currently experience a delay receiving clearing data from VISA for settlement date 2025-04-12. Authorizations are unaffected. Clients should be aware that Transaction API data for their VISA programs may be incomplete for 2025-04-12. Settlement API data for VISA with a settlement date of 2025-04-12 is also delayed. The issue is under investigation by VISA.

We have seen authorization traffic stabilize over the last 30 minutes. Mastercard has not yet declared the incident fully resolved.
Mastercard is experiencing intermittent disruption globally to Dual Message Authorization and Single Message Authorization switching. We are in contact and are monitoring. Clients may see elevated rates of stand-in and authorization advices.

We are currently investigating an interruption to service on Lithic's settlement reporting API. Transaction processing and other API's are unaffeced.
Report: "Elevated latency on transaction event delivery"
Last updateCustomers may have seen elevated latency in transaction event delivery on some portion of their cards between and 21:30 ET December 11 and 09:30 ET December 12. Authorization processing was unaffected. The cause was identified and addressed, event delivery is currently back to normal.

We are current investigating `card.shipped` webhooks not being sent in some cases.
Report: "Declines with CUSTOMER_ASA_TIMEOUT"
Last updateOn 9/25, Lithic ASA infrastructure experienced issues processing some requests between 00:39 and 00:49 UTC. This issue caused transactions to have unexpected declines with the result of CUSTOMER_ASA_TIMEOUT even though the ASA request was not sent to customer's ASA responders.

Clients configured to receive VSS reporting from Lithic have received their VSS reports. We are awaiting further report delivery to update the Settlement API.
VISA is currently experiencing an ongoing incident with their settlement system. As a result, delivery of settlement reporting data to processor endpoints is delayed. Clients configured to receive VSS reporting from Lithic will experience delays receiving reports for 2024-09-13. Lithic Settlement API data for VISA network transactions on 2024-09-13 will also not yet be available. VISA currently has no expected time to resolution, we will share updates as they become available.
Report: "Delayed transaction webhook delivery"
Last updateAn AWS networking issue that occurred between 8:32 UTC and 9:58 AM UTC caused intermittent delays in various Lithic subsystems. Customers may have seen delays in transaction event delivery, as well as delayed ability to transact on newly created cards. Authorization processing was unaffected. All data was queued and subsequently processed, the issue now appears fully resolved.

We are aware of an issue that caused delays in the delivery of transaction webhooks to some between 13:21 UTC and 13:47 UTC. While the issue has been resolved, we will continue to closely monitor.

Last updateBetween 2024-04-29 21:10 and 2024-04-30 03:35 UTC, about 0.5% of authorization requests timed out due to misconfiguration related to cross-region routing between Lithic systems. We did not send ASA requests for affected authorizations; customers received authorization webhooks with "DECLINED" result. We fixed the configuration and adjusted our alerting to prevent reoccurrence.

Mastercard has confirmed a global incident with their single message system. We are in contact and they are working on resolving the issue.
We are investigating an issue with receiving single message transactions for Mastercard cards. We detected issues starting at 12:09 am Eastern (05:09 UTC) when we stopped receiving these messages from the network. Card holders will receive declines on ATM and debit transactions. We are working with our upstream partners to get service restored as quickly as possible. Visa cards are currently not impacted.
