On Thursday, May 9 at 3:04 AM -10:19 AM Jobseekers/New Hires could not access the New Hire Portal.  Our engineers through investigation and troubleshooting pointed to an angular JS module was not loading resulting in users not being able to access the new hire portal.     The issue was resolved via reverting the previous release. We then re-deployed the release incorporating the referenced scenario with no further issue. To mitigate this situation from occurring in the future and reduce the risk of a future impact, we have incorporated the test case and ongoing review of our test scenarios to help improve the quality of our releases moving forward.

Through extensive investigation, our findings pointed to unoptimized procedures in our infrastructure including rise in bot traffic, inefficient queries, load balance, and some performance limitations in the search infrastructure and toolset version.
