All IT Glue data before 11:30pm PST on January 18th was successfully restored on January 19th, and all passwords and documents stored between 11:30pm PST on January 18th and 9:00am PST on January 19th were successfully restored on January 20th. For all other IT Glue assets, please continue to use your IT Glue Integrations and open API to automatically sync and update your IT Glue information. In the rare exception that you still have some IT Glue assets or information that have not been recovered, please contact IT Glue support at support@itglue.com with detailed information of the IT Glue data not yet recovered. Our support team will work with you to safely recover your data with minimal duplications. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Read-only Banner: In addition, to address the issue with the read-only banner that some users have observed sporadically today, we will be restarting the web servers tonight, starting at 6pm PST / 9pm EST. This process should take about 90 minutes and you can continue your IT Glue operations as usual, but some users may be logged out and will have to re-log in to the app. We expect no other customer impact. As a reminder, you can now continue your operations as usual and can store, view and edit IT Glue information. We thank you for your patience.

Performance issues with IT Glue Recent Items on April 8th were observed. Therefore, we had to make a difficult decision to temporarily disable it. Over the last few weeks, our engineering team has made significant optimizations to the performance of Recent Items. And at the same time, we are continuously evolving our database architecture to provide additional redundancy through active-active clustered replicas in addition to our existing high availability design to strive for 100% uptime. While optimizing the performance of Recent Items is independent of the evolution of the database architecture, we decided to ensure some of the key milestones are met before turning back on Recent Items. We chose this most conservative path, out of an abundance of caution, to ensure there’s no service disruption to your business. Recent Items are expected to be back within this week. We appreciate your continued patience and support.
Activity Logs are now working as we continue to work on the fix that would restore Recent Items functionality. Thank you for your patience.
Our investigation suggests that app performance has been negatively impacted by the running of Recent Items throughout IT Glue. We have had to make the tough decision to temporarily disable this feature while we work on a fix. This affects our North America Datacenter only. Last updateProduction memory reached critical capacity after some application processes failed to connect to a core database, and memory was not released cleanly. We have made alterations to the frequency of open connections, designed an initial task to reset connections regularly, and increased our alerting levels to ensure no re-occurrence of this incident.
