The recent issues were related to a disruption between 12:15 UTC and 15:20 UTC on February 28th, during which Connect apps were unable to perform user impersonation operations. The fault has been identified and resolved by scaling up the infrastructure. Post-incident review (PIR) and detailed root cause investigation will be conducted by Atlassian and shared publicly.

On October 28, Custom Charts for Jira experienced an unexpected outage for some users. This outage was caused by a recent release that included improvements to how Custom Charts performs with regards to rate limits in Jira. Although these improvements were tested and scale tested, an unexpected bottleneck caused the system to become unresponsive for some users. Custom Charts was rolled back to the previous stable release, and the system was restarted to ensure the app recovered as quickly as possible so we could properly investigate the incident. In the future, StatusPage notifications will be sent out for all incident updates, including initial incident alerts. We apologize for any inconvenience due to this downtime. An issue with one of our service providers caused a DNS error that resulted in Custom Charts becoming unavailable for some users. This issue has now been resolved and we are monitoring the situation carefully.
