We are currently investigating the issue. This issue is isolated to adding/modifying Clumio Protection Groups. Other components of the Clumio US1 Portal (portal.clumio.com) remain unaffected. Users might encounter following error message while adding/modifying S3 protection group. "Could not add buckets to Protection Group. Failed to add these buckets : ..."
Report: "AWS EC2 Backup Failures"
Last updateNormal service functionality has been restored following AWS's completion of their recovery efforts. We're happy to report that EC2 backup tasks are now succeeding without issue. This incident has been resolved.
AWS reported progress in resolving the underlying issue, and we observed gradual improvements in EC2 task performance. Clumio will continue to monitor the EC2 backup health.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available from the AWS.
Clumio has detected a service disruption stemming from an outage within our cloud service provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. This outage has directly affected our AWS EC2 backup tasks, leading to intermittent failures. Users may experience EC2 backup task failures until the issue is resolved from the AWS side. Any customer who has EC2 backups configured for their AWS "us-east-1" account will notice these failures. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue.
