Customers affected during this time would have experienced issues when attempting to load a subset of pages and features in the Alert Logic Console. In addition, IDS data was not being processed in expected timeframes as it was queued at the host, pending transportation. Once resolved, all queued data was transported for analysis.

Customers in this region attempting to run an interactive report search via the Alert Logic Console will not see the latest results. AWS have declared that all impacted services are functional in US regions. Alert Logic Engineers have validated all features and services and can confirm that all systems are operational. For those customers sending IDS and Log data, it has been received and is currently being processed for analysis and escalation. Customers attempting to execute searches for recent log messages or IDS observations may not see the latest results due to the data processing backlog - this is expected to take several hours. This incident is now confirmed to be isolated to those customers in US regions. EU and UK customers may disregard. We continue to follow service updates from AWS and will provide a further update when we confirm the issue is resolved and have validated internal services.

We are aware of an on-going global issue with AWS. We have performed an impact assessment of Alert Logic services and can confirm that we are collecting and storing data for IDS and Log products. Customers in US regions are not currently processing the collected data for review and escalation by our SOC. Customers in the EU region remain unaffected. Further issues can be seen in US regions when trying to interact with the Alert Logic Console, including search, dashboards and scanning. WAF, Endpoint Protection and Reporting products are currently unaffected.

In addition, customers may experience intermittent issues when navigating the Alert Logic Console.

We are aware of and investigating an issue affecting UK customers where errors are displaying intermittently when accessing WAF and IDS Event pages in the Alert Logic Console.

Last updateAlert Logic Engineers have validated that the backlog of stats data has now fully caught up. This incident is now resolved.
Engineering teams have successfully resolved the issue affecting IDS stats data in the Alert Logic Console. There is a backlog of stats data to process which will take several hours to catch up and Engineers are monitoring through to resolution.
Engineering teams are working on the fix and are working to catch the stats up.
We are currently investigating an issue where IDS stats are not displaying in the Alert Logic Console & customers who have configured collection alerts are receiving alerts related to the stats, in the US-West-1 region. Engineering teams have identified the impacted services are working to make these stats available. This effort will also resolve the issue with the collection alarms.

An issue has been discovered that is affecting customers within the US-West region. Customers within the US-West may experience delays in IDS and Log processing and intermittent portal access/functionality. We are currently executing a remediation plan.
